The Vicky Scale Models

There’s no question that I’m fascinated with the design of the 1957 Ford Club Victoria. This interest of mine, which is way over the border into obsession – will be most significantly explored through the construction of three detailed 1/25 scale Vicky miniatures: one of the factory Vicky, one a restyled version that explores what a well-designed ‘57 Ford/-58 T-Bird hybrid concept might have been like, and an experimental 1/25 Club Vicky slot car!

The construction of a replica of the factory stock Jackson car will be covered and highlighted in the future pages of Scale Auto which article series will generously permit me the opportunity to show how various elements of a highly-detailed factory stock 1957 Victoria scale miniature can be built using an array of kit-based pieces, aftermarket parts, some commissioned parts, and a fair degree of scratchbuilding.
